FileZilla is an easy-to-use application, available for Windows, Linux and Mac, that lets you upload files from your computer to a server or vice versa. In the main window you see the local data on the left side and on the right, you can see the files on the server with which you are currently connected. You can simply drag and drop the files from one side to the other, create new folders, delete files, and manage it all. Saving of multiple servers is possible. During a data transfer, underneath in the window, you can see the status of your downloads and uploads. So, FileZilla provides all you need to manage the files on your server.
The program supports FTP, FTPS (FTP over SSL/TLS) and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). Even large files over 4GB and IPv6 are no problem for the tool
The normal version of the program must be installed on the system. Now, however, a portable version is available, which can be run without installation from a USB stick.
