KeyPass is a free open source password manager. As the amount of passwords used for a variety of approaches such as your e-mail account or members-only areas on websites is growing, this program is a good choice to manage the different passwords. Using the same password at each login, is also not a good idea. Fortunately, this program suports other passwords for each case.

The program grabs all different passwords in an encrypted database and allows access only with a master key. You only have to remember this key. To encrypt the entire database inclusive your user name, Twofish and AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) is used, which is considered as fairly safe.

Password Editor

KeyPass also contains a password editor that lets you create passwords of any length. The created passwords are as randomly as possible, because you can also use a mouse to control the input.

Portable Version

KeyPass is available in a portable and a setup version with installer. On the download site, you can choose between these versions.
