The portable and low resource consuming tool WirelessNetView runs in the background and shows you some information about all active wireless networks that are in your environment.
The tool will display the following information about each network it has detected: SSID, RSSI, authentication, last signal strength, average signal quality, MAC address, channel number and frequency, and more.
Of course, a precondition to be able to use this tool is an active wireless network card.
