With the slim and easy to use tool Free Screen Recorder, it is very easy to record screen activities and save them as video (AVI files). Everything you can see on the screen such as text entries, program uses, and opening menus is recorded. In addition, also the sound from the microphone can be recorded, so that you can easily add comments to your presentations of programs or other activities.

The AVI video codec can be freely selected from all codecs installed on your computer, the same applies to the adjustment of the frame rate and the audio codec. It is also possible to take either the whole screen or select just parts of it.
