MediaInfo is a tool as well as a library to display information from media files. You can show tag as well as technical information from audio and video files.
MediaInfo Tool
With the integrated graphical user interface in a window you can directly access and read all information provided by MediInfo. You can call the window from directly via the context menu of the files (right click on file), or by drag and drop. With a tree structure, you can easily browse through the amount of information. In addition, the presentation can be customized and exported and displayed in many formats including HTML, text, spreadsheet or CSV.
MediaInfo.dll Library
For developers, MediaInfo.dll is a good choice. This library can be easily integrated into programs, so that you can access the media information easily. For example, that can be used in media players or file managers. MediaInfo.dell is used, for instance, in the software applications XMedia Recode, K-Lite Codec Pack and Media Player Classic.
